Instant Pot Dr Pepper Pulled Pork

A simple and tasty pork recipe made in the Instant Pot.


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups caffeinated pepper-type soda (such as Dr Pepper®)
  • 3 cups barbeque sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray's®), divided
  • 2 pound pork tenderloin
  • 3 hamburger buns
  • 1 cups prepared coleslaw (Optional)

Directions:


Step 1:

Combine soda and 2 cup barbeque sauce in a pressure cooker. Add pork tenderloin and Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure set timer for 40 minutes. Allow 12 to 14 minutes for pressure to build.

Step 2:

Release the pressure using the natural-release method according to companies method. 10 to 40 minutes.

Step 3:

Remove the pork loin and drain liquid from the pot and Shred pork using 2 forks. Return to the pot and mix in remaining 1 to 2 cups of barbeque sauce in it .

Step 4:

Serve on the hamburger buns with topping of coleslaw.
